3-Tier Wedding Cake

3-Tier Wedding Cake on Cake Central

3-Tier chocolate wedding cake with raspberry filling in tiers 1 and 3 and peanut butter filling in tier 2.

The front side of the cake includes Shakespear's Sonnet 116: Let me not to the marriage of true minds Admit impediments. Love is not love Which alters when it alteration finds, Or bends with the remover to remove: O no! it is an ever-fixed mark That looks on tempests and is never shaken;

Love your cake!! I am doing one like this for May wedding. I am using chocolate transfer. How did you apply the wording? Thanks for sharing. :)

Very pretty and smoothe cake. Nice job! I'd put scripture in place of sonnet but I do like what you've done here. Gives me some great ideas!! I just got my dedicated printer and want to try something like this. Very very nice!

Thanks! I used the icing printer and cut out the sheets and applied them directly onto the fondant. But the icing sheets cracked over night so I had to reapply before the wedding.

Icing printers are regular Canon photo printers but instead of ink they have food coloring cartridges, and print onto 'icing sheet'. I got my printer at Icing Images online. It was about $300 - but I think you can get them cheaper. The flowers are real tulips. The florist just wrapped satin ribbon around the stems.

This cake is beautiful! Sorry, but I'm new to cake decorating. What is an icing printer? Where can you buy it and about how much does it cost?
