Course 3, Final Cake!

Course 3, Final Cake! on Cake Central

10" bottom cake is yellow/chocolate marble and 8" top cake is devil's food chocolate. Both are covered with rolled BC (first time using it--mostly loved it). Roses are fondant...leaves, dots, and attempt at border are BC. Can't figure out ruffle border...anyone got any advice to help me?

Thanks for the compliments on my roses everyone...I worked hard on them. And thanks for the helpful advice ellyrae...definitely gonna give your advice a try...sounds like it might be the help I need...we'll see...LoL.

Your design is great! Love the dots and roses are very well done. For your ruffle, try not to move your hand up & down too much. You want to keep the wide end of your tip level and try to raise and lower the tapered end keeping even presser. Hope that makes sense!!! And yes! Practice, practice, practice!! You're well on the right track tho!! Great job!
