My first sock monkey cake for a little girls baby shower. Top tier is vanilla and bottom is chocolate. All buttercream. This got uploaded to "retirement cakes" somehow. Anyhow, it IS a shower cake! Monkey was made with REALLY soft fondant. Would not do that again without mixing gumpaste in or maybe just using gumpaste. Live and learn. Guess it turned out ok though, they all were pleased with it! Yay!!
