I was asked last minute to create an engagement cake for family friends and the only suggestion was vintage. I recently saw a picture of a distressed wooden crate with a rose in a vase on pinterest and I decided to use that as inspiration. I used a wood textured rolling pin that I git from Cakes by Angela Morrison and then I hand painted all the distressed look effect. I also made wired roses for the first time. Loved making this cake :-)
