i made the sequins by covering the cake with fondant then a thin coating of piping gel which I used to adhere large coloured round sprinkles too (a rather messy process but worth it) I then mixed clear alcohol with gold colouring and painted them
I had to give them 2-3 coats (a little patience needed to wait for the previous coats to dry as if they are not dry the colour just comes off again!!!!) to cover the green and red coloured sprinkles for the finishing touch I used gold colour spray to help with the coverage and to give that little sparkle which I don't think you can see in the picture
I hope this helps and if I can be of any extra help to you then please let me know
how did you make the sequins?? i have been looking everywhere not sure how to make them look like this
