Wanted to try the pallet knife technique but since I don't have any pallet knifes tried it with an offset spatula. Didn't come out all that great. Doesn't really matter because it is just for my daughter to take to her friend's get together. They really don't care about the decoration. Cake is drizzled with espresso syrup, filled with mascarpone filling & frosted with cream cheese cooked frosting. Use a wafer paper flower that I had made for practice.
