Mermaid Topsy Turvy Cake. This was for a pool party for two girls where they had custom mermaid tail Thank You notes attached to the party favor. One of the birthday girls loved her parents topsy turvy wedding cake and wanted a similar birthday cake. Her color requests were the cake have blue, green, and orange. The wedding cake had ribbon roses and lots of diamond patterns on the tiers. Would love a peer review from the cake club. I have a 3 tiered topsy turvy coming up in 2 weeks and would love suggestions on how to improve. The top tier is a 7 inch tapered to a 6 inch and the bottom is a 9 inch tapered to an 8 inch. Both tiers and the majority of decorations are home made marshmallow fondant. The ribbon on the board is shimmery and had a wire in the edges that gave it a wavy look. I was going for a water effect, but I think it does not show well in the picture. Thank you in advance!!
