Very pretty. I've got to do something like this in black and white. How did you attach the ribbon and where did you get your plaque?

Debbie....the bride gave me the little plaque...not sure where she had it done? On the ribbon, I just let the buttercream crust, then slowly attached the ribbon from behind,,,,hand smoothed it till I got back around and attached it with a small dot of frosting. Make sure to check your ribbon, some will soak up the oils. You can lay your ribbon down on wax paper and iron over it on the side that will be next to the cake....this can help keep it from soaking up any shortening and making it darker in color.
