love the color combo on this cake! Your roses look nice ... you might be holding the tip too close when making them .... tilt it out a bit more if you want a more open look.

Thanks for the tip! This cake was done before I had ever taken lessons or learned how to do a proper rose. I was just messing around :)

It looks beautiful! I would suggest using a little more icing when frosting so you don't see the cake beneath. Great shells, and lovely scrollwork!

This is very nice! The cross pan is hard to ice, with all that bevelling.
