First Attempt at the Recipe for a giant Ding Dong cake (from this site). I like the name Ring Ding, so I'm using that. I thought it would look cute with the chocolate cupcake swirl, and I think it really does.
This was also my first attempt at a ganache-type frosting, so I was very pleased. I know the sides are not smooth, but the top looks great, and there was no buttercream frosting underneath, just plain cake.
