I made this Christmas cake for my Mum and Dad. It's a traditional 3 month matured & alcohol-fed fruit cake, marzipanned and then smooth royal iced over 5 days. Then i put modern piping on top. I hand sculpted the reindeer from white modelling chocolate (his collar is red royal icing and a dragee for the bell) so he is edible, but Mum wants to keep him :)
