Blasting Into Double Digits
This is a birthday cake for my nephew's 10th birthday. I was inspired by Astro's Space Shuttle cake. The top cake has no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. He wanted a space theme so there are Meteors on the bottom and Galaxies in the middle. The top 2 cakes have peanut butter BC (Thanks sunflowerbagel) and the bottom has oreo pudding. The globe is covered in fondant.
Wow!!! This is very cool! I love your earth below the shuttle. Great job! Your smoke looks perfect.
Thanks! The kids wanted to eat it- But it was fondant on foam!!
that is cool. How did you get the colors with out using artificial coloring?
Only the top cake- Has orange color with Annatto from Whole Foods Market. The others are bad for you stuff!:D
That is so cool! Great job from a fellow Visalian
Wow Marthajo! That is a great cake!! Almost makes me wish I had a kid who was that young again, so I could do this cake! :P
Awesome cake. what a blast!

Thanks so much. I think my sister in law got it at a dollar store.
Awesome cake! Could you tell me where you found the shuttle for the cake topper? I am doing a cake soon and can't find one that size anywhere!
