This was a cake I made and donated to a local benefit raising money for a person I went to high school with who is currently battling a rare form of cancer. The cake sold for $950 in the live auction!

I decided to go with a Fall theme as we just had our first official day of Fall(maybe not in Houston where I am).

The bottom tier is homemade carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. The middle is Hazelnut Coffee Caramel cake and the top pumpkin is actually Rice Krispie treats covered in smoothed buttercream and then in MMF and painted.

As you can see, the MMF got quite sticky as it was very humid and hot outside where the benefit was held. All things considered it came out great and my favorite part is definitely the pumpkin.
