I adore this cake -the balance of color and texture is masterful. I have seen the gold brush before but don't always like the look. This is exactly when it looks best!!! It still looks random and natural but it's balanced and uniform too. Would you be willing to share your technique @cake_whisperer? I can't seem to get mine to this perfection.
