Acoustic Guitar
Finished this one at 5am yesterday because I had to work late (til 10pm) the night before. Hubby had to deliver it for me because I had to go back to work, he said the customer seemed happy... I hope so.
White sour cream cake iced in IMBC. Body freehand cut from 12" round. Neck and head are styrofoam covered in gumpaste, fingerboard and bridge are gumpaste. Strings and frets are angel hair pasta, pegs are gumpaste on toothpics. Sides and center 'hole' are chocolate fondant. Styrofoam supporting neck.
Oh yeah, pick guard is chocolate fondant and maroon gumpaste, marbled together and free-hand cut.

What a great job on coloring/marbling the 'wood' grain! I have never even tried to make a guitar cake in all my yrs of decorating.
