Wedding Cake W/ Red Roses And Scrollwork on Cake Central

The cake was all buttercream with scrollwork. As you can tell by my middle tier, I had a little problem with bulging. I normally do fondant cakes, so I never had this problem before. I now know not to put my filling too close to the edge. Practice makes perfect right?!

Absoulty Beautiful! I'm sure the little buldge never bothered the bride at all. I'm sure she was very happy and loved it. Most times, no ALWAYS we are our worst critic. You done great!!! ;-D

Thanks! I use a non crusting buttercream. It's a wonderful recipe, but I'm actually thinking of starting to use a crusting buttercream to get a smoother (fondant) effect like Sugarshack's. Let me know if you want the recipe, I can email it to you.
