Calla Lilly Illusion
Here is the bride's cake (goes with Chocolate Fillagree groom's cake). The "stems" in the center were suppose to reach the plate, but I miscalculated the measurements. The stem were gumpaste but the calla lillies were silk. The bride found this cake while surfing the net. Don't know who to thank for the inspiration but I love this cake!!!
Beautiful! I'm making that cake in squares for a wedding in August. It will have two - two tiered satellite cakes with it also. Are your callas just stuck into the top tier?
Yes, we just cut them and stuck them in. I was going to use a small juice cup because the bride had wanted real callas but when I got to the reception, they were silk.

This flower topper is awesome! You made up for your miscalculation nicely! No one would ever know! The mirror is perfect underneath and I love the small bouquet of calla lillies on the bottom tier. Very nice work!
