Spongebob
I made this for my son's 5th birthday. I used the mini egg pan for patricks house, and two eggs for spongebobs house(pineapple). Squidwards house is 3 cupcakes stacked with the tops cut off, and decorated with fondant. Graham crackers for sand. piping gel on the sides for the jelly fish.
I am SUCH a fan of Bikini Bottom and all the creatures that live there....this cake is super cool! :D

Yes i used the mini egg pan, i put 2 of them together with icing, i put small dowels through the tops of both of them to hold them upright on the cake. i then used the star tip to decorate. the leaves are off a fake plant i had sitting around the house.

This is a great cake!!! Are the characters sculpted from fondant or did you purchase figurines?
They were figurines on top of a tube of gum, i just ripped them off.
What a great idea! I wouldn't have thought of that. It's always nice to be able to find inexpensive figures to put on a cake that look good.
