I made this cake for a cousins engagement party this past weekend. I want to thank furlund2600 for the idea. She has a beautiful cake that I used as my model. Everyone loved it, especially the bride and groom to be. Top layer is Chocolate Fudge Cake w/ raspberry mousse filling, again recipe compliments of you fantastic people on this site. Bottom layer was French Vanilla cake which I divided in half with BC. Filling on one half, coconut/pecan and other half chocolate bc.
I love it. I was WOWed by the wine glasses holding the cake up!
Your cake just SCREAMS beautiful! Such a lovely job.
I just love that wine glass idea! Beautiful cake!
Such an elegant cake!! What did you use underneath the champagne glasses to keep them from sinking into the bottom tier?
That is absolutely perfect! I love it! :-D

That looks beautiful. It's so elegant and the glass idea is grat. I saw a cake decorating video once that also suggested using glasses to separate layers. Good work!
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I would like to know how you suppoterted the glasses also.
Beautiful...I bet everyone loved it!!! Great Job!
Very tailored, but feminine. Great execution!
This cake is beautiful! Great Job, how did you attach the wine classes?
Thanks for all for your wonderful compliments. It makes me want to continue learning all I can. The wine glasses are sitting on cardboard wrapped in saran wrap then covered in fondant and that is supported by dowels inserted into the bottom cake. Again, thanks to frulund 2600. Is was her cake I used as my model.
i love it, and it's very pretty and creative! but i would also like to know how you kept the wine glasses from sinking?!
