Flower For Aunt Donna
This cake was both a challenge and a joy! The 'pot' was made from a 6X3 and 8X3 rounds that were stacked and then carved to look like the pot, later covered in buttercream and fondant. The leaves are fondant streaked with holly green lustre dust and the flowers are bought gumpaste flowers that I coloured. Shovel and trowel hand made from fondant, base is covered in fondant and I used a cobblestone impression mat and later did a 'wash' with diluted black colour.
