Made this cake for my grand-daughter's 4th birthday in June. Two tiers with a giant cupcake topper. Bottom tier is banana pound cake with butter cream filling, middle tier is chocolate with chocolate ganache filling and the cupcake is also chocolate. Covered with ganache and then all tiers are covered with fondant. The top of the cupcake is covered with butter cream sprinkles added. The borders around the tiers are candy and the star is gum paste. The middle tier has suckers/lollipops around it for decoration. The ice cream cones are real waffle cones that came in colors with a chocolate cupcake on top covered with butter cream icing and then a swirl of butter cream with sprinkles on top. Ashley just loved her cake but she thought the icing on the cupcakes was supposed to be ice cream not icing.
