Russian & Nautical themed wedding cake. Bride is Russian and they're both keen sailors. Top and bottom tiers were Vanilla bean with berry IMBC and the middle tier was dark chocolate cake with caramel IMBC. The dome on the top is a half circle polystyrene covered in sugapaste. Royal icing piping and the russian domes and waves I hand cut from gumpaste. So much of the couple went into this! As 'unusual' as it is, it's probably my favourite of 2012.
