Nemo In The Anenome

This was a butter yellow cake, baked in a stainless steel mixing bowl then sculpted. Covered in buttercream. The anenome 'tenticles' are piped meringue. Nemo is made from a RBF/gumpaste mix. This was a huge success for a second birthday nemo party!

Hi! thanks guys.... I used a meringue kiss recipe which hardens in a very low heat for 3 hours so it stays nice and crunchy.

Thanks! I used a traditional french meringue kiss recipe.... it uses powdered sugar instead of regular and hardens in a very low heat for 3 hours. They stay crunchy on the cake for a day.
