This is the 1st flower pot cake I made - for my Mom's 65th birthday. The flowers are marshmallow fondant that I used like you would gum paste... never used gum paste - this is a first attempt. The cake is chocolate and the chocolate icing was colored to look like terracotta. The "dirt" is a crunched up Oreo pie crust. Just hope it transports well!
