Super job! I love this work. I have done some work with polymer clay and I wonder how similar it is to fondant modeling. What do you think?

It's similar in what you can do with clay but fondant is a little more difficult to work with. Fondant has a tendancy to dry out if you don't keep it covered and is also softer than clay. EX: I had to prop her up overnight in order for the fondant to dry so she wouldn't lay down lol. Becaues it is so soft i keep confectioners sugar right next to me to sprinkle on the dough if i need it. After i color some, i add confectioners sugar to keep from sticking to my fingers. Hope this helps
