Pin Cushion And Sewing Paraphenalia
B'day cake for a lady who used to sew for a living. Her Initials are on the spool and on 2 of the buttons, her age is displayed on the measuring tape. Bottom cake is a choc. cake torted and filled with choc. whipping cream, pin cushion is a vanilla cake with mascarponecreamfilling with Grand Marnier. Decoration on both cakes is buttercream with fondant and gumpaste accents.

Wow thanks, I can't sew to save my life, just hate sewing needles, but these were ok. Had to phone up some friends secretly and ask them what I had to put on. Was to be a surprise for the B'day gal.

Thank you, that one was made of the sportsball pan, carved a little hole on the top. Had way too much cake, as the bottom one was large, but noone minded. We're going over today to finish the leftovers
