I made these for my daughter's kindergarten & my son's preschool Dr Seuss's Birthday class parties on March 2nd. They are no fail sugar cookies with Antonia's royal icing. I'm still seeing red & white stripes in my sleep, LOL!!
I am new to this cookie technique, do you outline first, then do one color, let dry ,and then the other,?? They look great with no bleeding of the red.
Thanks dojeeltr! Yes this time I outlined the whole hat & the stripes in black and let them dry over night. Then I filled in red and white at the same time and let them dry over night. I'll PM you in case you don't check back here.

Those are soooo cool! Where did you get the cutter?
Thanks! I shaped the cutter myself. I just used a cutter I had and didn't want. It wasn't too bad, just used some needle nose plyers to bend it.
Really clever. My kids celebrated Dr. Seuss too. They look terrific!
These are perfect. Your icing is awesome. I hope to make cookies this good one day.
