Wilton Course 2 Final
I actually enjoyed doing the basket weave and rope border more than I thought I would. As the class is 30 minutes away, my top layer shifted a little in the car on the ride home, so the cake is slightly crooked. Thats what I get for filling the cake with a thinner filling that needs refridgeration! 1 hour of driving and 2 hours of class didn't agree with the cake!

Wow...that is some smooth icing-I gotta say I'm jealous. :D This is such a cute cake..I especially love the birdies and the flowers.

You birds are super, You did a great job aswell. Ya know the way my teacher showed us to make the daisy's looks nothing like yours or in the book. The way she showed us ends up looking like a dang windmill. LOL Thats why you dont see any on my cake LOL.
Thanks! I used a smaller tip on my daisies. Tip 104 makes them too blobish so I switched to 103 and they came out much better!
