3-D Baby Carriage

3-D Baby Carriage on Cake Central

This is my take on Wilton's Traveling First Class cake. Basketweave sides, fondant blanket and fondant baby. Some royal icing roses and some fondant flowers.

The wheels are fondant cut out with a circle cookie cutter and then dried. They are attached to 5" grecian pillars with royal. The hood I made twice out of fondant and it collapsed both times. On the day of the shower, I had to go with a paper bowl cut in half and then decorated with royal. What a disaster...I think it turned out okay though.

lovely cake ! next time try adding gumtex to the fondant before shaping the hood ,it will stay firm!
