Practice Cake
Needed some practice, so having company was a good excuse! Am almost happy with the roses, but still not 100% on the rose buds, leaves or shells; the icing & smoothing of the whole cake is also still a work in progress for me.

That looks delicious! And I think you did a great job on smoothing the cake as well as your roses! I have a really hard time making roses, when I saw yours all I thought was I wish mine looked like that!
