Birthday Sneaker
Lemon cake with lemon curd filling & raspberry & lemon BC icing. Covered with fondant. This is the first cake that I've ever 'carved'. I know I need to fine tune the detailing but this was fun and my grandson is going to love it!!
Thank you one and all. She wouldn't believe 'me' when I told her it was great. I liked the laces the best too!! (I knew her even before she made it! lol)

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!! I hope to learn more on carving and using fondant. This is only the 2nd time I used fondant. The large cover piece was hard to do but the small pieces were so much easier. Thanks again for all your wonderful and encouraging comments.
