Strawberry Basketweave Cake
Did this for a girl in my office who was getting married. She loves strawberries especially chocolate dipped ones. Have to get better at handling chocolate as I left smudges on the heart. First attempt - will have to figure that one out.

thanks for the positives - I used nestles chips with some shortening added to the melted chips.

That is beautiful. I bet she loved it. You could always do a border around the heart to hide the smudges if it happens again, but I bet you will figure out how not to smudge it next time. Don't ya just wish you didn't have fingerprints sometimes?

Your cake is awesome. I might have to copy it for my son's wedding. I'm looking for ideas for a groom's cake. I read if you wear food service gloves that you won't leave finger prints. Be worth a try.
