Valentine Cake
I made this cake for my office's February Birthday Celebration. There were a lot of SNAFUs, so the actual cake came from Safeway. I called and bought undecorated 9" rounds. I hated to have to do that, but desperate times call for desperate measures.
So it is yellow cake, buttercream icing and edible pearls. I hate using buttercream, but my office does not want fondant on cakes because they are afraid people won't like it.
