Cornelli Lace And Roses
Just finished 2 of these whoppers. It is 10" 3-layers of lip-smacking strawberry cake with a strawberry wash and strawberry BC frosting. No bottom border on them at the time of delivery b/c they needed to be put on cake stands at the church.
Lovely cake. Love how you can see the red from the strawberries in the frosting.

I put fresh strawberries in the cake batter, In the frosting I used frozen strawberries that I pureed.
what is strawberry wash?
It is 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water, heat until sugar is disolved then add 2 Tblsp. well pureed strawberries. Brush over cake or squeeze from a squirt bottle onto the top of each cake before frosting.
