This cake weathered a 450 mile trip to the wedding. The roses & sweetpeas are gumpase. Everyting was done in white, then the teal green was painted on the leaves & sweetpeas.
Thank you very much. Actually, it took me a long time (over a couple of months) because I was just learning how to make gumpaste flowers. I also baked the cakes ahead & froze them. Once everything was ready to assemble, it took about 3 days to put everything together. There were 350 people at the wedding.

thanks jscakes, the pillars are just clear acrylic with cherubs attached, there is a wine glass in the center with white roses
