Blue/brown Cake For Fun

Blue/brown Cake For Fun on Cake Central

I have a party to go to tonight, so I decided to get in some cake practice....It is covered in chocolate MMF (I used Hershey's Special Dark cocoa, made it a nice brown!) Circles and stripes are fondant, borders are buttercream. It turned out kinda like I pictured it to be.....and I learned chocolate MMF is YUMMY!!!

Thanks guys! I did make the topper, I atttached fondant circles to steel wire, and then made some "loopy" things. The chocolate MMF recipe I got from the discussion forums on this site...just added 1/4 cup cocoa to the basic recipe (sounds like people do diff. things to make it chocolate!)

Thanks again! The flowers are done with the 2D tip with a #5 center. I thought about doing it pink & brown! Oh yeah, the bottom is a 8" and top is 5" in case anyone wants to know!

Where did you buy the special dark cocoa . I love the dark color. Tried to do it with regular cocoa and it looked like a paper bag.
