marshmallow fondant and I used Dream whip icing for the first time underneath....I think mine was too soft.....

Godiva, I went and looked at all your posted pics and they are georgeous!! On my fondant covered items you can see dips and smudges and it seems I can never get all the cornstarch off....how do you do it? Your fondant is PERFECT!!!!!

Make sure your cake is well covered w/btcm and lump free. Although I think the problem may be that you are rolling it too thin; try rolling it to 1/4". Also, do you smooth with your hands? Warm hands can soften the btcm and create these dips under the fondant. Lastly, I try not to put too much pow.sugar the top...I lightly dust it with whatever I pick up with my hand. Also, make sure your rolling pin doesn't have clumps of the sugar as that will also create markings on it...
