First attempt at making French Macaroons, had a bit of trouble with the first batch. Think I over whipped the egg whites. Pink and purple ones taste good but have a chewy instead of crunchy consistency. 2nd batch blue and green ones turned out much better :) Filled them with vanilla orange buttercream icing.
