My first attempt at cake pops. My great nephew loved Spiderman and he was out of town for his birthday so upon his return (a couple of weeks later) I create chocolate, chocolate chip cake with hazelnut filling cake balls. The faces were dipped in red chocolate (melted) and I used an edible black marker to the lines and candy clay for his eyes. I messed up using a small paint brush and edible black dye (diluted with vanilla) to outline the eyes, but he never noticed the imperfections, all he saw was Spiderman.
