Rosey

My second try at painting images on fondant with Wilton color. ( I found the pictures online and tried my hand at them. ) I used the lemon extract to do my bigger cakes, and found the color clumped, because the alcohol content was so high it evaporated TOO fast. ( I think it was 85%) So, I tried something with less for the two smaller cakes I have done since then. It worked much better! This time I used 45% Watkins Imitation Almond Extract. None of the colors clumped or got chunky, and it also dried. Because I put it on so thick, it was sticky for a few hours, but it did dry nicely.
