I attached cake balls with toothpicks to a 6 and 8 inch cake dummy. I used a dark blue and sky blue candy coating and added white to each new layer to show the color fade. Hardest part was getting the cake balls to fit . Next time I'll make the balls a bit smaller than I normally make them. I can't believe how many cake balls it actually took! This is a great alternative to a wedding cake!
