Tortoise Cake This was a cake I made for 21st Birthday. My 1st attempt at this type of cake. I used a pyrex bowl to get the shape of the shell. I covered the shell in fondant and used a palette knife for pattern. The arms and legs are made from fondant and used the edge of piping nozzle to engrave the reptile markings. I also made the head and eyes from fondant. The flowers are wafer flowers and I piped the buttercream like grass using the grass nozzle.
