The daycare for one of my children has themed graduations - this year was "Dr. Seuss' Oh The Places You'll Go, A Dr. Seuss Graduation". Each class represented a different book theme - The cake is a mix of general Seuss (the hat) and One Fish, Two Fish - Since I had less than a night to make it there is no "blue fish" on the cake - but it is the first attempt to copy something free-hand, straight from a book into fondant (all fish are fondant) - frosting is (ashamed to admit, store bought) - I made the fish in about 90 minutes and needed them to dry several hours before I wrote in the black/eye detailing, etc. - The red parts of the hat are also fondant - Isabella is not person but the Child Care Center. I was empowered to think I could make the fish from all the wonderful Seuss cakes I viewed from the fantastic community we share here - I think I am getting better at this, but still am very much a "newbie" - Thanks for looking.
