Zachary's Sunken Pirate Ship

This cake was a blast and took me 2 days to complete. I wasn't very happy with the way it had initially turned out. I decided to add a mossy colored petal dust to give it an older grungier look. I got the instuctions for this cake out of "Debbie Brown's Enchanted Cakes for Children" book.

Looks GREAT! I love how you gave the wood it's grain and even the broken, splintered effect. It looks so realistic.

You did an amazing job on this!! I did a version of this ship cake (but had it sailing) and Wow!! You did way better. I know how hard and time consuming all those planks are!

I used a sharp paring knife to make the grooves in the boards and to splinter the ends. Thanks !
