Pokemon Cake

This was for my son's 9th birthday. The fonts, energy symbols, and characters were cut with my cricut cake and sure cut-a-lot. The pokeball was made with the wilton ball pan.

That looks great!! Can you tell me how you covered the ball with the fondant?  Also, is the ball sitting on something?

I apologize for never responding to this. I haven't been receiving message notifications. I cut the rounded end off of one side of the ball and put it on a cake board that I had cut to size. I used bubble tea straws for support inside the bottom cake.

For covering the ball....since it was 2 different colors, I covered each half separately, then put them together and put the black stripe around the middle to hide the join.
