I just finished this cake for a friend's 30th Birthday. The cupcake is the WASC recipe made with chocolate cake for the bottom, and yellow cake for the top. The fillings are Oreo SMBC in the bottom, and strawberry SMBC in the top. The cupcake top was covered in fondant, and the bottom is SMBC because I ran out of fondant! Learning as I go ! The monkey is sculpted with RKT and covered in modeling chocolate. That was the biggest pain of all. My hands are hot, so not the best for working with chocolate! The cherry and sprinkles are leftover bits of fondant and gumpaste.
