I made this cake for my parents 25th wedding anniversary. It was the first teir cake that I have ever done. It is frosted in buttercream, with white chocolate accent pieces dusted with pearl luster dust. The 25 was white chocolate dusted with silver dust. I used pink roses because that was the color of their wedding. However, I had a beautiful cake top to place on top, but forgot to put it on for the picture! Go figure. I had much more fun making it, than I did transporting it!

Just wanted to let everyone know, that this is the before picture of the cake. If you go under the forum in cake disasters, you will find out what happened when I transported it. I have gotton a lot of great advice from this site, and I will follow it! Thank you so much everyone for your comments and advice!

You did a fantastic job! Part of being a cake decorator is having a great disaster story to tell. You'll laugh one day. ;-)

Beautiful work. I know it is heartbreaking to have it messed up. Although, it probably looked better to everyone else than it did to you because you knew how it looked before.
