This was a fun cake to make for the 20 year old music buff. He loved it! I used 2 layers of chocolate cake (9x13) and covered with buttercream frosting tinted with a hint of black. The wires are black shoestring licorice with lifesavers. The dials are rolos with a brown M&M iced on. Various details are comprised of m&ms or other various bulk barn candy! There are white chicklets for dial thingies (can you tell I know little about mixer boards?? LOL). Could have done a better job smoothing out the icing but I find that job a bit tedious and my time was limited. Thanks to others on this board for inspiration!
