This was the 2nd time I made another version of this cake. Elmo's body was formed from warm rice krispy treats over 3 dowels and allowed to cool/dry overnight. His eyes and nose are also made from rice krispy treats and covered in fondant. Elmo's body was iced with royal icing using a grass tip. The cake was iced in white buttercream icing and decorated with fondant and gumpaste decorations. Oscar and Cookie Monster were made from only fondant/gumpaste with no internal support so they were 100% edible/child friendly all the way down to Cookie Monsters real full sized cookie. This also had a matching babies 1st birthday mini cake.
