This is my very first ?Rough Finish? buttercream cake. SO nerve-wracking! All these months practicing smooth buttercream (we can?t buy Viva towels in Australia) and the lovely bride requested a rough finish. I kept finding myself getting the first side perfectly rough then smoothing the other side!! Haha! So frustrating. The Bride and guests loved it and I was quietly pleased with how it turned out.
